Market Street - Flagged

A view of beautiful Market Street in downtown Celebration, all dressed up for Memorial Day. I took this photo on May 17, 2008 from the fountain in Market Square at the top of the street. What cracks me up is the cars that are parked the wrong way! I see this a lot in Celebration, and I also see tickets on the windshields.

Coca Cutie: That's funny! I'd love to see it. I can't think of another town where people park so haphazardly as Celebration! I'm sure it's tourists and they are confused, thinking Market Street is one way, lol. At least, I hope that's the case!!

That's a neat parking. My car today is parked out of the road!

Another great shot. And I like your new banner.

I see the wrong way parking here too. One day my daughter-in-law pulled in the wrong way in front of our house. About a ½ latter a very nice police officer got of his car came looking for us and said he really didn’t want to write a ticket so could we please the car to the other side of the road.

Coca: Funny thing is, I didn't notice the parking till I processed the photo, lol. That is the theater on the right side of the banner! Thank you for the wonderful compliments! And, you are right, Celebration is fantastic!!

Michele: Thank you so much!!

Marcel: Thank you! I'm sure the police around here would do the same in that case, they are all so nice. But these cars are a different story - probably confused tourists browsing one of the unique shops and not paying attention. LOL

Lynette: Thank you! (Your post today was incredible! Everybody should see it.)
